Via Romana Restaurant Gift Certificate!

It's always nice to have the convenience of having enough of what you need in one place for special events. It's close to being in paradise.

While on a food tasting trip to Cavite last weekend, I checked out the establishments adjacent to the restaurant. The restaurant and the other remarkable spots in the area are actually part of the amenities of an events venue called Paradiso Terrestre.

The compound-concept Paradiso Terrestre is situated in Bacoor, Cavite, particularly along the national road of Molino Highway. For residents of Metro Manila, it seems a province away, but it's actually just 10 minutes from Alabang. The place is a popular venue for weddings, birthdays, family outings and other important gatherings. I found out that an episode of ABS-CBN's Sharon Cuneta-hosted The Biggest Loser was held at Paradiso. Celebrities like actress Susan Roces and the political Revilla clan have also visited the place.

De Cor Azul (swimming pools)

Joining a quick tour of the events venue led by Shyanethe Maarat of Paradiso Terrestre:

Patio Verde
This covered area probably looks so stunning at night with the dramatic lighting fixture as the center of the event happening below. When I dropped by the area, it was almost 3:00pm and the venue crew was busy preparing it for a happening.

De Cor Azul
A decent set of two pools for family guests with gazebo cottages and cabana rooms. Paradiso Terrestre has a day, night, and overnight rates for this venue.

Casa Neni
Casa Nenita
This spacious building occupies a big part of the sprawling compound. I saw the interiors and I instantly loved the 7-meter high glass wall that surrounds the venue which is good for an array of events ranging from social banquets, conventions, concerts and more.

Via Romana Restaurant
This was where I had a late lunch. The restaurant has hefty servings of mostly Filipino dishes for families and couples on dates. I observed that the ambiance was distinctively warm and classy during our visit.

Sweet banana and ice cream dessert
For appetizer, I had the creamy Feta Cheese and Aubergine in Filo Salad. I stuffed myself crazy with hefty servings of Via Romana's Paela Marinara, Pansit De Paradiso, and Pinakbet. I finished it off with a sweet dessert called Banana Cake a la Mode.

Dining at Via Romana:
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM / 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Saturday - Sunday
7:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Vegetable Farm
Shyanethe showed us where the leafy vegetables of the dishes served to us at the restaurant were harvested. I learned that the greens I found to be sweet-tasting were picked from the vegetable farm that's in the compound of Paradiso Terrestre. The harvest as a result is organic, not needing unnecessary preservatives for distant deliveries.

My Over-all Review

The event venue is complete with remarkable amenities for various events and is accessible along the highway. Plus, there is ample parking for big events.

I would love to revisit the place at night as I reckon that it looks more classy at that time of the day. I would love to stay at one of its guest rooms as well to check out how the swimming pool experience is like with a fancy event happening next to it.
